| I was supposed to be with my sisters and our mother at our annual 'Girls Weekend' at the beach on September 13th, but hurricane IKE wiped that plan right off the map... literally! Completely OFF the map! So, what's a girl to do? I don't know about other girls, but I headed out for Biloxi and Cruisin' The Coast! Think about it... where else could I get my beach fix and be surrounded by great lookin' cars at the same time? |
| There's something special about evacuation. Maybe it's the thought of not knowing where the next bathroom is or maybe the constant of feeling of frustration. I'm not sure what, but it's real special. Maybe finding Slick's was my bonus for having survived the 12 hours we sat in crawling and sometimes stopped traffic. While returning from Austin after Hurricane Gustov, which didn't hit us. I was traveling down Hwy 71 between Austin & IH-10 and I almost wrecked the car when I looked across the highway. Well, the truth is... Something caught my eye in that field over there..., something vehicular! So of course I hooked a u-turn and out came my camera. Look at what I found! |
